1. About Divinity
Divinity is a free, non-profit mobile application dedicated to serving Hindu devotees worldwide by providing information about Hindu temples. Using Divinity is free and will always remain free. Divinity earns no advertising revenue and sells no user data.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Divinity. If you are under 18 and reside in India, you represent that you have obtained verifiable parental consent. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you meet these age requirements.
3. Purpose of the Platform
Divinity is intended exclusively for Hindu spiritual content relevant to temples and dharmic practice. The Satsang Feed is a community space for devotees to share prayers, temple experiences, festival observations, and spiritual reflections. It is not intended for general social media activity, news, politics, or commercial promotion.
4. Community Standards
You agree to the following community standards when using Divinity:
4.1 Spiritual Content Only — Post only Hindu spiritual content relevant to temples and dharmic practice.
4.2 Truth and Accuracy — Do not post false, misleading, or fabricated information. Be especially careful with religious facts, historical claims, and temple information.
4.3 Respectful Conduct — Treat all users, deities, and traditions with respect. Abuse, harassment, threats, hate speech, and discrimination of any kind are not permitted.
4.4 No Commercial Promotion — Do not promote businesses, products, services, fundraising campaigns, or causes without prior written permission from Divinity.
4.5 No Political Content — Divinity is a non-political, spiritual space. Political commentary, endorsements, advocacy, and election-related content are not permitted.
4.6 No Impersonation — Do not create an account, post, or communicate in a way that impersonates any deity, spiritual leader, person, temple, or organization.
5. Content Moderation
Divinity maintains a reporting system that allows community members to flag posts and accounts for violations of these terms. Divinity Support reviews all reports and may remove content, issue warnings, temporarily restrict accounts, or permanently suspend accounts. Actions taken by Divinity Support are final and binding.
Divinity reserves the right to remove any content and to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms or that Divinity, at its sole discretion, determines to be contrary to the spirit of the community — even if no specific rule is technically violated. We aim to be fair, but we cannot review every edge case in advance.
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Divinity. By posting, you grant Divinity a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute your content within the app and in promotional materials related to the Divinity platform. You represent that you have the rights to post any content you submit.
7. Temple Data
Temple information displayed in Divinity is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, Divinity makes no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of temple information. Always verify important details (opening hours, puja schedules, festivals) directly with the temple.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Divinity is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
9. Changes to These Terms
We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated terms, you may delete your account.
